This entails careful vacuuming of your subfloor before every install, followed by applying a powerful antimicrobial spray. This process has proven to reduce or eliminate everyday offenders like mold, mildew, bacteria, microorganisms, dust, mites, pollen, and other common allergens.
As a result, you’ll be much less likely to be bothered by odors, mold, or mildew as time passes, in keeping with industry Indoor Air & Surface Quality standards.
Clean, sanitized floors are the foundation of a healthier home. During the installation process, our experts will diligently clean and prepare your subfloor and floor to reduce mold, germs, and allergens. Once finished, it’s important to regularly use your manufacturer's recommended cleaning instructions to eliminate viruses, bacteria, dust, debris, and pet fur and dander on the floor’s surface. For instance, it’s generally recommended to vacuum carpets at least twice a week, and have them deep cleaned every 12-18 months.
It’s also a good idea with all flooring to leave your shoes at the door so that you don’t track in dirt, microbes, and moisture. We also recommend cleaning up spills and accidents as soon as possible because they can harbor bacteria growth and smells. Using best cleaning practices will not only keep your family healthier and allergy-free, but also ensure your floors stay looking beautiful longer.
