A: Yes, you can use an engineered wood which is more dimensionally stable than a solid hardwood product.We have many examples installed on our showroom floor.
Q: Does hardwood increase the value of my home?
A: Yes, hard surfaces such as hardwood and ceramic tile have been found to increase the value of your home. Some in Howard County have found that they recoup their entire flooring investment. Why is this? Hard flooring surface is perceived to be a "fixture" and more permanent than soft surfaces such as carpet, for example. Soft surfaces are believed to be easily replaceable by the new homeowner.
Q: What do I need to do prior to my carpet installation?
A: We ask that you remove any breakables, electronics, books, or other personal items. We will move empty furniture. When we come to your home to measure for the carpet our salesperson will discuss in detail what you need to do prior to the installation.
Q: Is laminate easy to clean?
A: Yes! All you need to do is use a damp mop on a regular basis and occasionally use a laminate cleaner. Our laminate has warranties that it will not wear, fade, or stain for 10 years to 30 years depending on the grade and wear layer.
